Dr. Dre brought more than his character to GTA Online: a six-song project featuring guests such as Eminem, Snoop Dogg and Anderson .Paak. The Contract offers two ways in: the adventure in Los Santos and its recordings. This guide brings together the songs, their collaborators and the role music plays in the story.

First, a mission to recover music

The Contract launched on December 15, 2021. Franklin and his agency helped Dr. Dre recover a missing phone containing unreleased material; the songs debuted within GTA Online. This was not simply a selection of older hits placed on a radio station.

The difference lies in the objective: recovering the recordings, rather than just listening to music while driving. The plot turns the artist's work into something that must be returned to him. A song can therefore function both as a musical release and as a reason to move an adventure forward.

The six songs and their guests

Interscope identifies The Contract as a six-track EP from 2022. That date refers to the recording project and does not replace the date of the game update. The official releases provide this map of collaborators:

• “Gospel,” with Eminem.

• “ETA,” with Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes and Anderson .Paak.

• “The Scenic Route,” with Rick Ross and Anderson .Paak.

• “Diamond Mind,” with Nipsey Hussle and Ty Dolla $ign.

• “Fallin Up,” with Thurz and Cocoa Sarai.

• “Black Privilege,” presented without guests in its official title.

To find your way through the project, it helps to focus on these combinations rather than seek a single representative song. “Gospel” brings Dre and Eminem together; “ETA” gathers three guests; Anderson .Paak also appears on “The Scenic Route.” The list helps trace each collaboration without confusing the featured performers with the complete songwriting or production credits.

From the phone to the studio

Rockstar's introduction to The Contract describes Record A Studios as a place to watch Dre at work and get closer to the music-making process. The same page places the agency and security contracts along the path to the VIP client.

This is the most concrete connection between music and the game: an office organizes the work, a phone holds the recordings, and a studio brings the focus back to where songs are made. These are not three interchangeable settings; they represent administration, circulation and creation within the fiction.

Those drawn in by Eminem can start with “Gospel”; those seeking the collaboration with Snoop have “ETA.” Listening to all six tracks afterward offers a way to appreciate the whole project without relying on the order of the missions. This is a historical look at the 2021–2022 collaboration, not a guide to the game's current prices, requirements or availability.
